Polish Chamber of National Defence Manufacturers expands international partnership

Since 2012, the Chamber has been realizing promotion of the Polish defence industry export in 11 countries, in Armenia as well. The result of the Polish-Armenian cooperation, which started in 2016 at the ArmHiTec exhibition, was the establishment of a Polish – Armenian joint venture in scope of tents, camouflage systems and bullet-proof vests.


Polish Chamber of National Defence Manufacturers located in Warsaw, was established in 1995 and is the oldest self-governing institution in Poland in defence sector.

The part of the statue tasks of the Chamber are:

· creation of cooperation ties, inspiration of undertakings leading to increase of production for domestic market and for export;

· support of restructuration and modernisation of the Polish defence industry and integrating it with European structures;

· establishment of contacts with foreign producers and support of Polish defence industry export.

Currently the Chamber has 153 member companies, both state-owned and private ones.

The Chamber is the only defence industry self-governing organisation, which has certified ISO 9001:2015-10 quality management system together with Internal Control System (since August 22nd, 2005), Arms Trade License issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration (No. B-062/2005) and has NATO Commercial and Government Entity Code (NCAGE) no. 1082H since December 27th, 2005.

In Poland, the Chamber, is a co-organizer of BALT MILITARY EXPO exhibition in Gdansk and cooperates with organizers of MSPO exhibition in Kielce.

Since year 2001, the Chamber has been initiator of the industrial cooperation inside Visegrad Group (Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary).

Thanks to the activities of the Chamber, cooperation has been established with the military-industrial associations of 22 countries: Australia, Czechia, Denmark, Philippines, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, India, Indonesia, Canada, Lithuania, Malaysia, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine, USA, Hungary, UK, Italy.

Since many years the Chamber has been coordinating majority of Polish defence industry participation in international exhibitions.

In 1998, the Chamber has been appointed by the Ministry of Defence to represent Polish defence industry in NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG) and since 2000 has been actively participating in the Group meetings. Since 2007 the Chamber has been cooperating with European Defence Agency (EDA) and has been chosen as the EDA Point of Contact in Poland.

The first acquaintance with the Armenian audience took place in 2016 at the national stand at the international exhibition of defense technologies in Yerevan. Since that time, 8 trade missions, 3 conferences, 6 missions of the Armenian Ministry of Defence representatives to Poland were organized.

This year, Polish Chamber of National Defence Manufacturers applied for participation in the 3rd International Exhibition of Defense Technologies "ArmHighTech", which will be held from March 31 to April 2, 2022 in Yerevan at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.
