Minister Arshakyan showed a live shot from a hand grenade launcher OG-7V of Armenian production
The production of OG-7V grenade shells is localized in Armenia. This was published by the Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mr. Hakob Arshakyan on Facebook along with the video of the assembly of the shells.
The shells of OG-7V grenade launcher are designed for the widespread grenade launcher RPG-7, which was first manufactured back in Soviet times and still proves to be effective. The Armenian production of these weapons has passed state tests and was put on a serial basis.
"Along with modern developments, it is very important to organize the production of existing weapons - both out of economic and strategic considerations," - the Minister said.
These and other domestic developments will be showcased at the International Exhibition of Arms and Defence Technologies "ArmHiTec", which will be held on March 25-27 at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan.
